FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health - 1 day
This 1-Day course covers the content of the Level 1 course (A ½-Day course aimed at providing learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person towards professional help) Level 2 expands on the effects of drugs and alcohol. It incorporates the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported within a workplace.
Distance Learning (online) FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health - 1 day
This 1-Day online course covers the content of the Level 1 course (A ½-Day course aimed at providing learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person towards professional help) but also expands on the effects of drugs and alcohol, incorporates the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported within a workplace.

This short course is designed for all employees within a workplace, offering the fundamental knowledge to recognise suspected mental health conditions. Participants will develop some of the skills needed to initiate conversations around mental health and acquire the ability to direct individuals towards appropriate professional support.
Distance Learning (online) FAA Level 1 Award in First Aid for Mental Health Awareness - half day
This online course is designed for all employees within a workplace, offering essential knowledge to recognise suspected mental health conditions. Participants will develop skills to initiate conversations around mental health and acquire the ability to direct individuals towards appropriate professional support.
FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid for Mental Health Awareness Supervising - 2 days
This 2-Day course provides an in-depth exploration of various mental health conditions, along with the crucial support mechanisms implemented by healthcare professionals. Targeted specifically at Trainer/Assessors and supervisory personnel within the workplace, it encompasses the comprehensive content of both Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications.
First Aiders for Mental Health Annual Refresher - half day
This is a non-regulated annual refresher course recapping the skills and knowledge the learners have previously covered on their regulated First Aid for Mental Health qualification. It also looks at current events that may affect a person’s mental health and ways in which we can improve our wellbeing.
FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health - 1 day
This FAA Award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health qualification is suitable for anyone who actively connects with children such as parents, carers, teachers, youth group leaders and young adults.
The qualification has been designed with children and young people in mind, covering areas such as depression, self-harm, eating disorders and bullying and will provide the knowledge and skills to identify a potential mental health condition, start a conversation, and provide support and guidance to seek professional help.
First Aid training that meets your needs
Our First Aid training courses are delivered to various group sizes, accommodating up to 12 people for certified courses, and more for some of the additional training courses we offer. We can deliver it in-house, at our Brighton & Hove location or a venue local to you. Some courses can be delivered remotely via Google Meet, Teams, or Zoom.
